SoftBank Corp. subsidiary, Japan Computer Vision Corp. ("JCV") has deployed the AI Thermography System "SenseThunder" at The Strings by InterContinental Tokyo, a luxury hotel owned by Best Global Inc. The system is installed at the entrance of the restaurant with the aims to create a safe and secure dining environment for the customers to enjoy a wonderful time with their loved ones.
JCV's AI Thermography System "SenseThunder" integrates a thermal imaging camera with JCV's original facial recognition technology. Powered by AI, the device enables effective above-normal temperature screening by accurately detecting one's face in 0.5 seconds, even with face masks or sunglasses on. The device is installed at the entrance of the restaurant in the hotel to allow the customers to self-check their physical condition while maintaining appropriate social distances with the staff.
In combination with their existing infection preventive measures, the new addition of "SenseThunder" will help to make safety visible, as the hotel strives to provide a secure and care-free environment to their valued customers.
