~Learn how we are increasing office safety by preventing infectious diseases

Japan Computer Vision Corp. ("JCV") will soon introduce a new face recognition system capable of detecting a person's body temperature and use of a face mask. The system is designed for use in office buildings where it is essential to remind employees and visitors of good hygiene to reduce the spread of infectious diseases, such as coronavirus (COVID-19).
The system will be exhibited at the 4th AI EXPO, held at Tokyo Big Sight South Hall starting on April 1st (Wed) 2020.
The advanced algorithm can accurately and instantly identify a person's body temperature and face, even if the person is wearing a face mask. It also can flag those who should be wearing face masks or people with high fevers.
During the event, which is the largest exhibition of Artificial Intelligence in Japan, JCV will introduce not only the above-mentioned "Body temperature check solution" but also its advanced Smart Building Access, Smart Office and Smart Retail solutions based on world's leading face recognition with live demonstrations and various use cases along with demonstrations.
